The dsAcademy is pleased to announce its Seed Grant Program, focused on the intersection of global health equity and data science. We invite individuals currently undertaking bachelor's or master's programs (or have recently graduated within 2 years) from Nepali nationals from any university to submit innovative project proposals that leverage data science methodologies to address pressing global health challenges locally and internationally.

Eligible applicants may request funding up to $500 AUD to support projects that demonstrate potential for i) impact, ii) creativity, and iii) feasibility. Proposals should clearly articulate the problem statement, proposed data-driven approach, and expected outcomes. A maximum of two grants will be awarded. Individuals may wish to explore existing datasets (e.g. Demographic Health Surveys, STEPS, etc.) and build projects on top of that to explore novel research questions.
